About me

“ Hi everyone, my name is Ohans Emmanuel, and I’m a full-time Netflix viewer”. 

Ah! I got you. Just kidding.

On a more serious note, there’s isn’t a lot to know about me, but let’s try this one more time.

In 2017, I wrote my first book, Understanding Flexbox.

It was free as a bird! No cents collected. The feedback was mind-blowing.

Like a drug, it made me want to do more. So, I kept going and created some more mini books:

and my most recent book Reintroducing React — before modern redux!

I kept blogging extensively with my blog reaching over 2 million views within 3 years.

I really like creating easy-to-digest engineering content, and I find it fascinating. Breaking down seemingly complex topics. I love it!

Yes, I do sometimes sell stuff (just like the modern redux book 🤓), but it all stems first from truly providing value.
